RCB Donates to Wilmington Community Television

Reading, MA – Reading Cooperative Bank (RCB) recently gave $1,500 to Wilmington Community Television (WCTV) to support community media. WCTV is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to serve the residents of Wilmington, Massachusetts. WCTV produces content for a Wilmington audience and seeks out producers from the community. It is a welcoming place for students interested in multimedia production. WCTV works with the school department on content and training. The facility is open to the public and welcoming of new ideas and new members.

WCTV accepts programs of all kinds. While most of their content is Wilmington-centric and focuses on issues facing the town, they also have producers who like to showcase their talents and interests, including sports, tech or books, just to name a few. WCTV doesn't rely on ratings to decide what constitutes a good program. They are dedicated to working with producers to turn their vision into a reality.

“WCTV is a great creative outlet for those in the community who are interested in starting their own program,” stated Nick Iudiciani, Wilmington Branch Manager at the 230 Lowell Street location. “It’s an opportunity for anyone who would like to learn more about the television medium and try their hand at video production.”
