WILMINGTON, MA — We all have our local favorites, but which Wilmington restaurant deserves national attention?

Patch asked readers to chime in with their picks for which eatery needs to steal the limelight. A favorite quickly emerged.

More than half of all comments named Tremezzo Ristorante, at 2 Lowell Street.

"They do so much for the community," one reader noted.

AJ's Kitchen of 162 Lowell Street also got a mention.

So did Simard's Super Roast Beef, 279 Main Street, and Rocco's Restaurant, 193 Main Street.

Two Tewksbury restaurants were also named: Al Fresca, 1768 Main Street, Tewksbury and Cafe Sicilia, 1300 Main Street, Tewksbury.

Kitty's Restaurant, 123 Main Street, North Reading, got a mention as well.
