WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant has opened for business. While coronavirus stopped the long-awaited restaurant from holding a grand opening in Wilmington, takeout and delivery are now available.

The local chain was initially scheduled to open a Wilmington location in 2018, but was forced to delay its opening by the Sept. 2018 Merrimack Valley gas explosions.

Wilmington's Casa Blanca is the chain's sixth location. It's located at 207 Main Street, a space vacated by Chili's in 2017.
