Wilmington Public Schools Will Be Closed Tuesday Due To Predicted Snow

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Glenn Brand announced Monday that the district's schools will be closed Tuesday due to the predicted snow.

In a Tweet, Brand wrote: "A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued tomorrow with up to 6 inches of snow predicted for the area. Due to concerns with road & travel safety, all schools in WPS will be closed on Tues., Feb. 28."

As Band noted, the region could see up to 6 inches of snow.

According to the NWS, there could be a total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. During the day on Tuesday, there is a chance of 1 to 3 inches of additional snow.
