WILMINGTON, MA — Glen Road will be closed at the railroad crossing Friday night beginning at 9 p.m. The Wilmington Department of Public Works received late notice that Keolis, the operations contractor for the MBTA, will be performing emergency railroad crossing work, according to a statement from the town.

Glen Road will be closed to through traffic at the railroad crossing overnight until about 2 p.m. Saturday. It is likely the work may be completed prior to this time and 2 p.m. is a worst-case scenario, according to Keolis.

Soft closures for Glen Road will be provided at each end on Middlesex Avenue and Main Street with hard closures just before the tracks in the vicinity of Drury Lane and Gandalf Way.
