Wilmington Weather: Rain and Sleet on the Way

Rain and sleet are in the forecast the next few days, but skies should be clearing by Saturday for a dry holiday weekend.

WILMINGTON, MA - There's wet weather, and possibly some sleet, in the forecast through Friday, but it looks like skies will be clearing for the weekend.

Here's a look at the latest forecast for Wilmington from the National Weather Service: 

  • Wednesday Night: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain showers. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the mid 30s.
  • Thursday: Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain showers and sleet in the morning followed by a chance of rain showers in the afternoon with patchy fog and much cooler temperatures with highs in the lower 40s.
  • Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain with areas of drizzle and patchy fog. Temperatures in the upper 30s.
  • Friday: Rain likely, but warmer temperatures with highs around 60 degrees.
  • Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 30s.
  • Saturday: Partly cloudy with highs around 50 degrees. Saturday night lows in the mid-30s.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s.
