Woburn Street Bridge Project Begins In Wilmington

The preservation of the bridge over I-93 is scheduled to begin this week and continue into next month.

WILMINGTON, MA — The preservation of the Woburn Street Bridge over I-93 is scheduled to begin this month. The town received notification from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation on the project.

The project will begin with temporary traffic pole/signal installation on May 6th, and activation of temporary traffic signals expected in June.

This project is being funded and managed by MassDOT and is expected to be a multi-year project including roadway/sidewalk improvements, bridge beam repair, bridge deck/abutment repairs, and temporary traffic control.
