Acera School offers "Try it Out" week for afterschool enrichment

Classes available in robotics, cooking, game design, and more

Winchester parents looking for afterschool enrichment programs for their kids can “Try it Out!” at Acera before committing to a full 9-12 week session. From November 26-30, children can sample the K-8 STEAM school’s afternoon activities for just $10/day.

Topics include robotics, cooking, photography, game design, live action role play, and science exploration. Bus transportation is available from Lincoln, Lynch, McCall, and Muraco elementary schools. A full list of classes, as well as a registration form, is online at www.aceraschool.org/enrichment-programs.

“Our programs are designed to be hands-on and fun, tapping into a child’s innate creativity and curiosity,” said school director and founder Courtney Dickinson of Winchester. “‘Try it Out!’ week is a great opportunity to expose children to science and technology, and might even uncover a passion they didn’t know they had.”
