Spring Pond portion of South Peabody Trail Network near completion

The second phase of the public path is almost finished in time for summer.

The City of Peabody announced that the Spring Pond portion of the South Peabody Trail Network is almost complete.

The second phase of the South Peabody Trail Network connects about 300 acres of land for runners, bikes, joggers and nature enthusiasts.

The Mayor Michael J. Bonfanti Nature Trail and Conservation Area at Sydney’s Pond opened to the public last November. This step in the project created an access ramp at the Meadow at Peabody Golf Course and a wildlife observation platform looking out over Sydney’s Pond.
