Winchester Hospital Delivers First Baby of 2017

The couple's first child was also the first baby born at Winchester hospital this new year.

WINCHESTER, MA – Hundreds of babies will be delivered at Winchester Hospital in 2017, but only one baby can be the first of 2017. Ryan Thomas Mullan was born at 12:51 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1 to Jessenia Amaya and Thomas Mullan of Nashua, NH.

Baby Ryan hand arrived a bit earlier than expected, as Amaya had planned to work one more week before having her child.

“I know he came early but I always thought he was going to be a New Year’s baby,” Amaya said. “I was just planning on going to the grocery store before I went to work, but the baby had other plans.”
