500 Lose Power After Car Crashes Into Pole On Main Street

Police said the vehicle occupants were okay but the crash knocked out power for hundreds and caused a road closure.

WOBURN, MA — Over 500 were left without power and Main Street was shut down from School Street to Mountain Street, after a car crashed into a pole Monday afternoon. The crash at 954 Main Street brought utility lines down in the street. The car's occupants are OK, according to police.

Eversource crews restored power by 9 p.m.
