WOBURN, MA — The Chateau Restaurant, a local Italian chain, is planning to open in Woburn.
The restaurant will fill the former site of Joe's American Bar and Grill, 311 Mishawum Road, as first reported by Boston Restaurant Talk.
The Chateau Restaurant received a liquor license at a May 20 meeting of the license commission.

Founded in Waltham in 1933, the Chateau Restaurant has eight locations across the Boston area, including one in Burlington.
The menu features Italian classics like chicken parmigiana, stuffed shells, baked lasagna and pizza.
