WOBURN, MA — A water line project near Woburn’s borders with Stoneham and Winchester will cause a series of detours and delays beginning before the end of October, Woburn city officials announced on Tuesday.

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is upgrading an existing line in the area to meet changing service needs, according to the city.
