Electronics, Appliance Recycling Drive Coming Up In Woburn

WOBURN, MA — An upcoming event in Woburn will allow residents to recycle a range of electronics. The Medeiros Recycling group is conducting an appliance, Freon, CRT, and electronics recycling drive.

The event will be Saturday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Spence Farm property at 41 Wyman St. in Woburn.

The recycling drive is open to residents and businesses from all communities, not just Woburn. It offers a way to recycle these items at minimal cost, as the cost for curbside pick-up of these items has increased again this year.

Some of the items eligible for recycling in console TVs, water heaters, air conditioners, laptops, CRT computer monitors, and dehumidifiers. For more information, go to the Town of Woburn's website.
