Chacon Gil was a former employee at the restaurant Taste of Brazil/Tudo Na Brasa. Court documents suggest that beginning in 2018, Chacon Gil provided false identification documents to Brazilian employees of the restaurant in order for the employees to secure work authorization.

Authorities said that on Feb. 20, 2020, Chacon Gil met with an employee and provided that employee with a fake green card and a fake social security card.
