They lived in North Hampton for several years then moved back to Woburn where she has remained over the years. She was very devoted to her family always partaking in their activities, sporting events and world of academics. They always had a love of the ocean so summertime and throughout the year they would travel to the beach for the day, for a walk or just for a short visit, but Kate truly loved the ocean. Whether in Maine, at York or New Hampshire, at Hampton or North Beach, spring, summer, fall or winter, it was beautiful.

When the children were all in school Kate returned to work as a Para-professional in the school system, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Kate was also a veracious reader of any genre. If it had words on it she read it! Newspapers, magazines, books, periodicals or computer, there was always something to be learned. Listening to Rod Stewart was always pleasurable and going to his concerts was always exceptional having made many of them over the years!
