OBITUARY: Ellen (Amari) Tamilio, 77, Formerly of Woburn

WOBURN, MA — Ellen (Amari) Tamilio, age 77, of Stoneham, formerly a long-time resident of Woburn, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 23, 2016.

Ellen was the beloved wife of Frank J. Tamilio, Jr., devoted mother of Frank J. Tamilio III of Chelmsford, Judy Mabardy & husband Emile and Mark Tamilio & wife Julie all of Woburn, Rachel Tamilio of Wakefield, Timothy Tamilio & wife Jennifer of Virginia. Loving “Grandma” of Gianna and Isaiah. Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Gaudioso) Amari, dear sister of Anna Brazee of Billerica, John Amari of No. Carolina, the late Marie Donato, Jennie Gianotti, Josephine Foskitt, and Russ Amari. Ellen is also survived by a large and loving extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, November 28th from 4-8 p.m. Ellen’s Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 29th at 10:00 a.m. in the Wilmington Congregational Church, 220 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
