OBITUARY: Paul M. Stack, 49, of Woburn

"A very fun loving and funny young man , Paul shared a wonderful sense of humor throughout his lifetime."

WOBURN, MA — Paul M. Stack was stricken at his home late Sunday afternoon November 27th. He later passed away at the Winchester Hospital. Paul was just forty nine years of age.

Born in Medford, he is the devoted son of Paul and Joyce K. (Abbott) Stack. Paul grew up in Woburn always being active in the Pop Warner football league, and Woburn Youth hockey and Little League baseball. Throughout his years in high school he focused on specifically on hockey and was an outstanding player during those four years for Woburn High School. Paul graduated with the Class of 1985.

Paul enjoyed very much working with his hands, so immediately following high school he began working as a general contractor. From roofs, siding, gutters and windows ,Paul was kept quite busy over the years.
Paul’s greatest gifts in life were those of his children, Kasandra and Alyssa. He had two daughters, whom the sun rose and sun set over. He shared a wonderful relationship with them spending valuable time with them, travelling to Boston quite frequently by train and enjoying the duck boats, Boston Common area, going to ice shows at the garden and the different museums.

A huge sports fan Paul always enjoyed taking in any sporting event, at anytime and anywhere! Be it with his brothers or his friends he just really appreciated the sports and the strategy of it all.

A very fun loving and funny young man , Paul shared a wonderful sense of humor throughout his lifetime. From all the different genres of Irish music, in particular that of the Pogues, or playing good Irish football throughout the years to enjoying a bag full of his “laffy taffy” with friends and family, it was all so very special to him over the years.

Paul is lovingly survived by his parents Paul and Joyce (Abbott) Stack of Woburn. Adoring father of Kasandra and Alyssa of Wilmington. Devoted brother of Gary P. Stack, his wife Kim Martin, David A.Stack,his wife Cathy, Robert J. Stack, his partner Denise Leigh, Brian J. Stack, his wife Kristen all of Woburn and Derek R. Stack, his wife Erin of Wakefield. Loving uncle of Catriona, Robert J. Jr., Haley, Jared, Jillian, Jayson, Skyla, Leyland, Lundyn, Teygan, Greylan, Delaney and Cassidy.

Paul is lovingly survived by his parents Paul and Joyce (Abbott) Stack of Woburn, adoring children, Kasandra and Alyssa of Wilmington, his devoted brothers of Gary P. Stack, his wife Kim Martin, David A.Stack, his wife Cathy, Robert J. Stack, his partner Denise Leigh, Brian J. Stack, his wife Kristen all of Woburn and Derek R. Stack, his wife Erin of Wakefield, and loving uncle of Catriona, Robert J. Jr., Haley, Jared, Jillian, Jayson, Skyla, Leyland, Lundyn, Teygan, Greylan, Delaney and Cassidy.

Also survived by the mother of his children, Heidi Stack, of Wilmington.

A Funeral will be held in St. Mary's Church, 158 Washington St. IN Winchester on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn from 4 to 8 p.m Remembrances may be made in Paul's name to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006.
