WATCH: 'Patriots Day' Trailer Released

WOBURN, MA — The official teaser trailer for Mark Wahlberg's new film Patriots Day has been released.

The teaser footage paints a brief picture of what can be expected in the Boston Marathon Bombing film, based on the fateful day in 2013. Patriots Day follows the story of Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis in the events leading up to the bombing and the deadly manhunt that followed.

Film crews were on Gill Street near the Mishawum Road area in Woburn on April 1. Unfortunately, it is not clear whether any scenes shot in Woburn made the teaser trailer, or whether scenes shot in the city made the final cut.
