Woburn Companies Among Top MA Places To Work In New Report

WOBURN, MA — Woburn’s Triverus Consulting is one of the best small employers in the state for 2022, according to a new report this week from the Boston Globe Magazine.

The Globe announced rankings on Wednesday, reviving its annual Top Places to Work listing for a 15th year. The news outlet divided employers into four groups based on their number of employees, with the small employer category capped between 50 and 99 employees.

It ranked companies using data from anonymous employee surveys gauging various company traits.

Triverus ranked eighth on the small employers list.

Triverus is an IT consulting firm based in Woburn. It employs 74 people in Massachusetts, according to Globe data.

Headquartered on Tradecenter Drive, Triverus fell in its 2022 ranking compared to 2021, where it ranked third among small employers reviewed by the Globe and its research partner Energage.

The top small employer in Massachusetts for 2022, according to the Globe, was software development and consulting company RapDev, which took top honors in its first year on the Globe’s list.

Triverus was not alone among Woburn companies recognized by the Globe this week.

Trans Action Associated, a computer services and transportation planning company, landed 22nd in the Globe’s medium employers listing.

Residential remodeling firm NEWPRO was ranked 27th in the same category.

Focus Care, working in the healthcare industry, ranked 50th.
