WOBURN, MA — Woburn's restaurant scene is getting attention: the city was the subject of a recent report in NECN praising it as a "foodie's playground with an old-school feel."

Marc Hurwitz, the founder of Boston's Hidden Restaurants, wrote Thursday about the city's "many independent dining spots, most of which offer to-go food."

Restaurants mentioned included The Restaurant, Bayberry Café and Gene’s Chinese Flatbread Café.
