Woburn To Host COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

The clinics will offer Pfizer booster shots across four Thursdays beginning next month.

WOBURN, MA - Woburn community members needing booster shots for their Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will have options to get a shot through a set of city-run clinics over the next three months.

Woburn Mayor Scott Galvin announced the clinics on Monday in tandem with the Woburn Board of Health. Clinics will take place at the Woburn Senior Center at 144 School St. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the following days:

Individuals receiving a vaccine must be a Woburn resident or employee. Individuals should pre-register using the links above.

The daily rate of new statewide COVID-19 cases decreased slightly in the latest round of week-by-week state data released by the Department of Public Health on Thursday. The hospitalization rate rose from 557 a week prior to 592.3, while the death rate did not change.

Locally, Woburn saw its average daily case rate climb slightly from 21.3 cases to 21.5, according to state data.
