WOBURN, MA — A long wait ended in recent weeks for the owners of Wild Fox Pierogi in Woburn with the opening of their new restaurant serving pierogis and much more in town, owners announced on social media.

Wild Fox’ Fox Den restaurant is now open at 482 Main Street in the Woburn Center area.

The spot is serving an initial menu of pierogis, pizza, sandwiches and more inspired by classic Polish and Portuguese flavors and dishes, according to the Fox Den website.

The team has won a base of fans over roughly four years, serving pierogi options and more through pop-up events around Massachusetts.

Even while traveling between area communities, owners last fall said they always wanted to add a fixed restaurant home. As a result, Wild Fox launched an investment drive in August of 2021, seeking short term loan investments from supporters interested in helping fund initial startup costs.

The Fox Den restaurant was open for take out as of October of this year, with owners at the time saying on social media that they just had to clear a few lingering permits before opening for dine-in service.

Just over a month later, on Nov. 23, owners took to social media for a new announcement, inviting community members in for dinner service.

“We're thankful to finally be open, and to be able to have you join us!” owners said in their announcement.

The Fox Den is open Wednesday through Sunday each week. All hours run 4 p.m. to midnight, except for Sunday hours, which run from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
