Woburn Snowstorm: City Imposes Parking Ban

WOBURN, MA — Woburn put in place a snow emergency parking ban Thursday night in preparation for the expected snowstorm.

A winter storm warning was issued for most of the state Thursday, including Woburn. The city could get over a foot of snow, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Parking ban

A street parking ban is in place from midnight Thursday to 8 a.m. Saturday. Off-street parking is available in municipal lots.

Trash and recycling

"Due to the impending snowstorm for Friday February 25th, Thursdays Trash and Recycling Route will NOT be picked up for the week of 2/21," the city said. "Friday’s Trash and Recycling Route will be picked up on Saturday February 26th due to the one-day Holiday delay."

Thursday's collection will take place next Thursday.
