Woburn's Lord Hobo Brewing Company Introduces 617 White Ale

WOBURN, MA — Woburn-based Lord Hobo Brewing Company recently introduced 617 White Ale to its portfolio.

The beverage will be Lord Hobo's first year-round wheat beer and joins the company's other 617-brand offerings, 617 Hazy IPA and 617 Lager.

Keith Gabbett, Lord Hobo's master brewer, said 617 White Ale was brewed with "approachability in mind."

"Bright orange and citrus flavors shine through in each sip with a crisp finish to balance out this medium-bodied wheat beer," Gabbett said. "The aroma brings forth subtle notes of orange peel rounded out by hints of clove, inviting you to take another sip."

Lord Hobo's 617 White Ale now is available in 4-packs and 12-packs at retailers around the Northeast. Additionally, 617 White Ale, 617 Hazy IPA and 617 Lager all are available at Fenway Park this season.

"Crafted with Bostonians in mind, 617 White Ale is the perfect beer to add to our 617 lineup," said Aubree Karls, Lord Hobo's marketing director. "Whether you're cracking a cold one at the ballpark or enjoying a couple at your favorite watering hole, we're confident you won't be able to have just one."

Founded in 2015, Lord Hobo Brewing Company features its Woburn brewery and taproom, located at 5 Draper St. in Woburn. The company also has a taproom and restaurant in Boston, at 2 Drydock Ave., and the original bar and restaurant in Cambridge, at 92 Hampshire St.

Lord Hobo products currently are available in 12 states throughout the eastern U.S., with 15 wholesaler partners.
