Woburn's Weather: From 60 Degrees to Snow

Snow is possible on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; after a week in which temperatures exceeded 60 degrees.

WOBURN, MA - Yes, you read that right. After some beautiful, warm, sunny weather, Woburn is expected to see some snow this weekend and on Monday.

After temperatures in the 60s Thursday and Friday, cool weather is moving in, along with the white stuff. Woburn is predicted to get around one to three inches of snow.

Here's a look at Woburn's weekend forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Saturday Night: A chance of rain before 3am, then rain and snow. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 32. West wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Sunday: Snow likely, mainly before 11am. Some thunder is also possible. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Sunday Night: A chance of snow, mainly after 5am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 22. West wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Monday: Snow likely, mainly after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

More snow is in the forecast to start the week with early snow showers on Monday turning to steadier snow in the afternoon bringing another one to three inches. And even some more snow showers Monday night.
