Police Say 'Avoid' This Worcester Intersection Due To Construction This Week

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester drivers may want to avoid the intersection of Park Avenue and Salisbury Street over the next few days, if possible.

Worcester police Tuesday morning said the intersection would be the site of a construction project over the next few days, with construction activity happening during daytime hours — including around the main morning and evening rush hours.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection of Park Ave and Salisbury St between the hours of 7 PM and 5 AM. There will be construction for the next several days that will impact traffic and cause detours," police tweeted Tuesday morning.
