Uplifting Story about Lyme disease

As an adventurous little girl, you could find me exploring nature and all of its beauty. Around the age of seven, I was bit by a tick and developed a fever of 104-degrees.

A healthy child shouldn’t experience chronic muscle and joint pain, brain fog and fatigue. I had constant “growing” pains in my arms and legs. I would wake up crying from the pain asking to go to the hospital.

After years of suffering, I went to the doctor when I was 18 years old and finally received a diagnosis – it was Lyme disease. After initial antibiotic treatment, my symptoms persisted. Following rounds of antibiotics and enduring their never-ending list of side effects, I decided to stop using them all together.

In 2016, I visited a friend in California and came across cannabidiol, widely known as CBD. Desperate to alleviate my pain, I decided to try CBD. I quickly felt relief, could think clear and had a taste of what life was like without Lyme - what I so longed for.
