Metro Detroit 'Owns' List of Best Suburbs to Raise Family

Where’s the best place in Michigan to raise a family?

Oakland County is a great bet, according to the 2015 Best Places rankings by Niche.com, which looked at age demographics, school ratings, crime rates, and access to affordable housing, child care, libraries and grocery stores.

Five of the top 10 suburbs are in Oakland County, but Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms and Saline also made the Top 10.
