Who wouldn't want bragging rights like this?

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — What does it take to be one of the top grillers in the country? Just ask Edward Ringwelski, Grill Master at LongHorn Steakhouse at 15340 Hall Road in Clinton Township. He has been named regional champion of the brand’s Steak Master Series, an epic culinary competition where the restaurant’s top-performing grilling experts vie for title of national champion.

Ringwelski is one of 57 team members across the country to achieve this distinction out of the more than 5,000 who were invited to participate in the competition.

“At LongHorn, our grilling expertise stands as a testament to the quality and care we put into our steaks,” said Thomas Hall, executive vice president of operations at LongHorn Steakhouse. “Edward is one of our top Grill Masters who proved that they’re the best of the best and brings their passion for serving expertly grilled steaks into the restaurant every day.”

Ringwelski, a Clinton Township resident and native, has worked at LongHorn for eight years and says his favorite part about the job is the people.

Here are a few top things to know about Ringwelski:
· He has 14 years of restaurant experience
· His favorite LongHorn menu item is the Outlaw Ribeye

The third annual Steak Masters Series, which awards cash prizes totaling more than $200,000, celebrates LongHorn’s commitment to craftsmanship on the grill. This year’s competition began at the restaurant level when grill cooks across 500 LongHorn locations competed to move on to the regional round.
