Highly-Rated Restaurant Coming To Mall at Partridge Creek

A highly-rated restaurant will be opening next spring in Clinton Township's Mall at Partridge Creek.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant is coming to the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township next spring. The Chicago-based restaurant features dozens of wine selections, cocktails and a menu that includes everything from burgers, sandwiches and salads to beef, seafood, and pasta selections.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will occupy the space that was slated for “Muer Table + Bar.” Litigation, however, stopped the restaurant from opening earlier this year when it was challenged in court by the owners of Joe Muer Seafood.

As for Cooper’s, it appears to be a popular restaurant in and around Chicago with five different locations. Dinners at the Arlington Heights, Illinois restaurant give it four out of five stars overall on the review website Yelp.

“Food - NY Strip and the mushroom-encrusted chicken were both 5 stars,” wrote Tracy P. Of Grand Rapids in a July 2 review. He gave the restaurant four out of five stars. “The strip was one of the best I've had, marinated and served with a ginger-soy glaze. The wasabi potatoes and roasted vegetables were also excellent as was the risotto. I would definitely go back for the food!”

Nic Z. of San Francisco wrote in a March 7 review: “Yay: Amazing Bloody Mary! One of the best, ever.,” she said in giving the restaurant a four star ranking. “Nay: Service was sub-par. We had to have one dish remade three times before it was done correctly (only asked for the sauce to be on the side, not rocket science).”

“Cooper's Hawk is a popular place in the suburbs due to its quality wines, chocolates, and upscale food in a nice setting with professional service and nice menu,” wrote Sherwin C. of Buffalo Grove, Illinois in a June 17 review. He gave the restaurant four out of five stars. “They also have a nice gift shop at the entrance with items such as wines, chocolate truffles (highly recommended), and teas. While the food isn't really the most unique or flavorful, they do a good job of presenting it well and providing the upscale ambiance.”
