Know of a creative K-5 class in Metro Detroit or an awesome teacher who would be perfect to put their thinking caps on for a chance to win a free field trip and educational workshop?!
Your class must work together to design what they think their city will look like in 200 years. Imagine the vehicles, buildings, technology, natural surroundings and more! Collaborate and draw your ideas, then submit them with a description in written or video form.
Projects should be submitted to [email protected] with the subject titled:
“ Teacher name – School – Cities of the Future”
Winning class will receive a free field trip, workshop and the chance to see their creation built entirely out of LEGO Bricks by our Master Model Builder! Their city of the future will be displayed in MINILAND Detroit for a limited time.
Important Dates
Classes may begin submitting their projects September 24, 2018
The contest will close November 2, 2018
The winning class will be announced November 9, 2018
The field trip must be scheduled in advance and take place between December 1, 2018 and February 28, 2019
*One class will win, transportation not included.
