The Macomb Community College University Center, which is located on the College’s Center Campus in Clinton Township, will hold an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 4:30 to 7 p.m. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet in person with representatives from the college’s 11 partner institutions, find out about the more than 50 bachelor-degree completion and advanced degree possibilities offered through the University Center, and learn about financial and academic support as well as career opportunities and readiness.

Macomb University Center partners are institutions that have transfer agreements with Macomb Community College and offer courses at the college’s University Center. The partners are:

At 5:30 p.m., Michelle McGill, interim director, University Relations, Macomb Community College, will give an overview of transfer resources available on Macomb campuses and online. Academic advisors and counselors will be on-hand to discuss the transfer process in detail. Attendees will also learn about scholarship opportunities and other financial resources, academic support, growth industries and careers and how to graduate career ready. Representatives from Macomb’s Office of Veteran and Military Service, Macomb’s admissions office and Michigan Works! will also be in attendance.

The event is free to attend. Register at macomb.edu/uc. All registered participants will be entered to win Apple AirPods. Additional opportunities to enter to win the AirPods will be available at the event. Walk-ins are welcome. The open house will be in Building UC1 at the Macomb University Center, which is located on the college’s Center Campus, 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township.
