Man Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Pregnant Woman In Macomb Co.: Cops

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was arrested Sunday in connection with a deadly stabbing in Macomb County, according to police.

Officers were called to check on a disturbance at a Sterling Heights apartment complex at 18 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue at roughly 3 a.m. Sunday morning, according to police.

When officers arrived at the complex, they found blood inside the apartment but did not find anyone at the home, according to police.

Officers were then called to a condominium complex at 16 Mile and Harper Avenue in Clinton Township where they found a pregnant woman stabbed multiple times and a man covered in blood, according to police.

The pregnant woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she and her unborn child died, according to police.

The man was arrested in connection with the deadly stabbing, according to police.

No further information was released as police were still investigating the incident.
