Meet a Mermaid at SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium's Newest Exhibit

Come face to fin with the magical world of mermaids at the limited time event August 15 to September 1

Fairy tales will come to life at the first ever Meet a Mermaid event at SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium. Guests will dive into the magical world of mermaids with special underwater dive shows, an opportunity to meet a mermaid and even experience a VIP mermaid makeover and photoshoot. The special event will take place from Thursday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 1 at the aquarium at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills.

"Mermaids are one of the most unique magical creatures that capture the imagination of children and adults alike," said Hayley Anderson, manager at SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium. "We are excited to bring them to life alongside our incredible array of live sea creatures in the ocean tank. The Meet a Mermaid exhibit will provide the young and young at heart with an enchanting experience, and perhaps inspire them to learn about the real animals that live under the sea."

Mermaids will amaze guests as they perform special underwater dives alongside thousands of live sea creatures including sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, tropical fish and more. Guests can meet mermaids face to fin at daily meet and greets and remember their experience by snapping a selfie or purchasing a memorable photo package.
