CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash in Clinton Township on Saturday, according to police.

Police said the motorcyclist was riding in the roundabout at Cass Avenue and Romeo Plank at roughly 7 p.m. when he lost control of the bike and struck the curb, according to police.

The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and hit his head, according to police.

The rider was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.

Police do not know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, as they were still investigating the incident.
