School Shooting Threat Closes Mt. Clemens High School: Police

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI — Mount Clemens High School is closed Friday after a handwritten threat was found on a desk within a classroom, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

The note indicated there would be a school shooting on Friday. Officials found a similar message on a separate desk in the school.

Macomb County Police and school officials are investigating the incident. Police asked if anyone has information to call the Macomb County Sheriff's Office at 586-307-9358 or leave an anonymous tip on the "MacombCo Sheriff" app.
