“This pandemic has caused some heartache for our local businesses,” said County Executive Mark A. Hackel. “But Macomb has always been open. And that’s why we started the Macomb is Open contest. We wanted to give our residents the opportunity to get out and support their local food and beverage establishments and help them get through this period of uncertainty.”

Macomb County Planning and Economic Development launched the contest with help of the Macomb County Chamber and other economic groups.
