Snow in Clinton Township Forecast, But Don't Get Too Excited

Michiganders accustomed to cold winters are getting a break — or cheated — depending on how much you love snow.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – Snow lovers may be rewarded this week, though not in the crippling amounts seen in parts of the Midwest and along Eastern seaboard this weekend. For current local conditions, check the weather icon on the Patch homepage.

Rain is expected to turn to snow after 1 a.m. Tuesday through Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service, which said precipitation chances are 70 percent Monday night and 40 percent both Tuesday and Tuesday nights.

The temperatures will be unseasonably mild, though. Monday’s high is forecast around 37, the low Monday night will rise to 38 and Tuesday’s high is around 39. It will get a little colder Tuesday night, with a low around 25.

The mild weather is expected to last through the seven-day forecast. Here’s how the rest of the week will shape up:

Wednesday: Partly sunny, daytime high around 31, overnight low around 22 under mostly cloudy skies.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, daytime high around 34, overnight low around 27.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, daytime high near 36, overnight low around 27.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41, overnight low around 31.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37.
