Zookeeper Camps familiarize campers with the knowledge and skills required to be a zookeeper and provide the opportunity to learn about animal health, behavior, nutrition and welfare. Eco Camps allow campers to explore the role they can play in conservation, from helping animals in their own backyard to saving endangered species around the world.

In addition to the daytime camps, Twilight Trails Evening Camps for students in first through sixth grade give campers the opportunity to explore the Detroit Zoo after it closes for the evening.
