Suspect Charged With Armed Robbery

The Clinton Township man allegedly robbed a CVS clerk and two customers.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A Clinton Township man could spend the rest of his life behind bars after allegedly robbing a clerk and two customers at gunpoint inside a CVS Pharmacy early Monday morning. Osaze El-Kijauntay Taggert, 19, allegedly took $400 from a CVS clerk $40 from two customers, according to Macomb Daily report.

“Taggert, 19, was arraigned Monday in 41B District Court on three felony charges. He is being held in the Macomb County Jail on a $500,000 bond.”
“The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office authorized a warrant charging Taggert with two counts of armed robbery, assault with intent to rob while armed and felony firearm.”
