TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants Celebrates Veterans Day

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based, family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual dining, quick-service and family dining restaurants throughout the state of Michigan, announced today that, in honor of Veterans Day, its Applebee’s, Olga’s Kitchen, MOD Pizza and Del Taco restaurants will offer free meals to veterans and active military personnel. TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak made the announcement.

On Sunday, November 11, all 65 TSFR-owned Michigan Applebee’s, 26 Olga’s Kitchen, 11 MOD Pizza and five Del Taco restaurants will celebrate Veterans Day by providing a free meal to the men and women who have served in, or are currently serving in the United States military. Applebee’s will provide free meals from a special Veterans Day menu, Olga’s Kitchen will offer The Original Olga® sandwich, MOD Pizza will offer a free MOD size pizza and Del Taco will offer its 1-6 combo meals free.

“TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is proud to offer year-round support to the men and women who serve or have served our country,” said Pasciak. “For us, Veterans Day is a special time to take a moment and personally thank these brave men and women for their service by offering them a free meal. We looking forward to celebrating at all our restaurants.”

Those eligible to receive a free meal will need to show proof of service, such as a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, DDT214 Citation or Commendation, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph of he/she in military uniform or by wearing their military uniform in-restaurant.
