Martin Luther King Day 2016 In Clinton Township: Charity Drive

The Church of Christ Care Center in Clinton Township is collecting food and clothes to help local residents.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Want to give back on MLK day but not sure what to do? Gather up any mittens lying around you don't use or hit the supermarket and pick up a few groceries and make your way to the Church of Christ Care Center.

The Church of Christ Care Center is launching a food and clothes drive in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. You can drop off items that are so desperately needed by local residents through Monday, Jan. 16.

TOGETHER – LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr, we will collect new or gently used coats, hats, and gloves along with non-perishable food items NOW through Monday, January 16, 2017 (MLK Day).We will be donating all items to Grace Church of Mt Clemens who has a community supper each Wednesday night. Clothing will be donated to them as well.
