When Does Michigan State Play for Spot in 2015 NCAA Division II Final Four Bracket?

The No. 7 seed Michigan State Spartans made it into the Elite Eight with a 62-58 win over the No. 3 seeded Oklahoma Sooners.

Michigan State University upended No. 3 seed Oklahoma, 62-58, in Friday’s late game in the Sweet Sixteen bracket of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament, advancing to the Elite Eight, where the Spartans will play Louisville.

Tip-off for Sunday’s East Regional final at the Carrier Dome against No. 4 Louisiana (27-8) will be 2:20 p.m., EDT. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

The No. 7 seed in this year’s tournament, Michigan State (26-11) edged past No. 3 Oklahoma to make it to the Elite Eight for the 12th time in the school’s history. Sunday’s game is current Coach Tom Izzo’s ninth trip to the Elite Eight.

The Spartans, the lowest seed still remaining in the tournament, were led Friday by Travis Trice, who hit 7-of-14 field goals, including four 3-point shots. Trice led all scorers with 24 points. Guard Denzel Valentine had 18 points and seven rebounds.
