Brady Street To Close For Traffic Monday From March 16 For Bridge Repair Work

The project will consist of superstructure replacement, substructure repair, slope restoration, approach and maintenance of traffic work.

The Brady Street bridge will be undergoing a few much-needed repairs in the near future.

The project is slated to begin in early April, but Brady Street., from Morley to Cherry Hill, will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 to prepare for the construction work. Drivers are advised to follow the posted detours.

The project will consist of superstructure replacement, substructure repair, slope restoration, approach and maintenance of traffic work. In addition, decorative bridge railing and name plate installation will take place.

There are currently no plans to disrupt gas, water, or other utility services in the area.

The project is expected to end in early July, prior to the city’s annual Homecoming Festival, Aug. 7 – 9.
