Dearborn Man Gets 10-30 Years In Prison For Fatal 2023 Shooting

The shooter was running an illegal dental clinic​​ and fatally shot a 28-year-old man over an argument about dental work, reports said.

DEARBORN, MI — A Dearborn man was sentenced to 10-30 years in prison for a fatal shooting that happened in July 2023.

Zayed Albodour, 53, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and one count of using a firearm during the commission of a felony in April. He was originally first-degree murder and using a firearm during a felony in connection with the shooting.

Police said Albodour fatally shot a 28-year-old man at a home in the 2200 block of Olmstead Street near West Outer Drive and Monroe Street on Dearborn's west side on July 6, 2023.
