ASH TOWNSHIP, MI — A Canton Township man was killed early Thursday morning after he was hit by a car in Monroe County, according to police.
Police said the 28-year-old Canton Township man was walking in the roadway on Will Carleton Road near Port Creek in Ash Township at 4:35 a.m. when he was hit by a black Lincoln that was driven by a 38-year-old man from Willis.
The Canton man was killed in the incident, according to police.

Police were still investigating the incident and asked anyone with information to call Michigan State Police at 734-242-3500.
