5 Detroit Parks Now Have Free Public WiFi

There are also solar power charging stations for devices​.

DETROIT — Five Detroit parks now have free public WiFi, according to city officials.

Those parks are:

  • Bradby Park - 9674 Cardoni St. Detroit
  • Chandler Park - 12831 Frankfort St, Detroit
  • Clark Park - 4301 W. Vernor St, Detroit
  • McDuffy Park - 803 W Philadelphia St, Detroit
  • Palmer Park - 910 Merrill Plaisance St, Detroit

The project was put together by the City of Detroit, Detroit Parks Coalition and Connect 313. The Detroit Pistons, Rocket Community Fund and Knight Foundation also contributed $265,000 in grants for the project.
