  1. WITL has shared its top 10 list for the best deli sandwiches in the Lansing area. While the list has several smaller local delis, some larger chains made the list, including the Firehouse Subs in Lansing. The ranking was compiled using data from Yelp. (witl.com)
  2. The Meridian Township Lake Lansing Advisory Committee recently hosted an educational session for boaters on invasive species in Lake Lansing and how to avoid them. The event was held at the Lake Lansing landing dock this past Saturday, with the aim of helping boaters during the prime summer season. Instructors even introduced a new solar-powered tool for boaters looking to keep their boats clean. (WILX)
  3. The average gas price in Lansing dropped just under eight cents in this last week. GasBuddy surveyed 177 gas stations in Lansing, concluding that gas is 20.3 cents lower per gallon now than last month and 135.4 cents lower per gallon than a year ago this time. Gas statewide is seven cents lower in the last week, bringing the average price per gallon to $3.47 — three cents more than the Lansing average. If you are looking for the cheapest gas in the city, a gas station offered a gallon at $3.21 on Jul. 9. (WILX)
