Livonia Man Faces Charges Of Armed Robbery In Novi

Livonia man will be facing charges of armed robbery from a holdup that was reported last month at GNC in Novi

NOVI, MI- A Livonia man will face charges of armed robbery in a holdup reported last month of a GNC store in Novi.

30-year-old Justin Weber, who was arrested on Nov. 27, the week after the holdup of the GNC on Grand River west of Beck. He was charged the following day with one count of armed robbery, and is being held in Oakland County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.

According to Scott Baetens, an assistant to the police chief of Novi, security video and tips from the public had led police to Weber.

During the holdup which took place on Nov. 21, Weber had brandished a black semiautomatic pistol, he didn't point it at anyone and demanded money, cash was stolen from the store, Beaetens said.
